The Hill Theater for Kids Casting Notice

"Pistachio a Brooklyn Girl Made from Trash" project of Green Phoenix Permaculture is casting lead actors and understudies.

The Hill Theater for Kids is committed to present quality theater for young audiences. Currently casting a special Earth Day performance and run of “Pistachio a Brooklyn Girl Made from Trash” written by Emmy Gay and directed by Emmitt Thrower.

Looking for Actors who care about the environment.

Casting

The role of Pistachio: Looking for actors 12-26 years old. We will cast a child or an adult who can play a ten year old. Pistachio is a ten year old girl made from trash.

The role of Garbage: Looking for an adult large size actor. Garbage is a joke telling villain

Travel stipend offered for rehearsals. Paid performances.

Performances are April 22, 24 May 1 and 8.
Auditions March 23rd and 27th.

Interested actors please email photo and resume with cover letter explaining your feelings about the environment and why you would like to be in a play for children. Actors without cover letter will not be considered.
