Hi Natalie,
Nice to hear from you again.
I don't have the books in front of me, but can give you some information about the difference between the Mollison books.  The Designer's Manual is about 300 pages, very dense and much more text
than illustrations.  The Intro is about 150 pages, much more readable and more evenly
divided between text and illustrations.

Dave Jacke's book is kind of a combination of both, readable and with lots of illustrations, but
his focus is on applying permaculture theories in the implementation of an edible forest garden.
It's been a while since I looked at it so I'm providing a link to the book description:

Hope this helps.

Tom,

Natalie here, remember me?
We bumped into eachother on the subway several months ago.

I am interested in knowing what the difference is between the
Introduction to Permaculture book is from the designer's manual, and
part one of edible forest gardens. I don't have the money for the
95.00 book right now, though I've looked at it and find it a work of
genius, albeit lacking structure.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Natalie
