Yes! The Regenerative Design Institute (RDI) near Bolinas (just north of SF), Emerald Earth near Boonville, and Occidental Arts and Ecology Center!! All amazing places with incredible people.

Diego and I are going to be in the California Bay Area in this coming week.  Our primary purpose is visiting family, but since the family is also developing a budding interest in permaculture (yay!) we'd like to take some road trips to visit some permaculture sites and/or eco-villages in the nearby area.  Any suggestions?  "Nearby" includes: Bay Area, Marin, Alameida, Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, etc. Points south as far as Monterey are fine too.
