  • Hi Lisa! Do you remember who started a garden match program for gardeners with people who have unused lawn space in the boston area? I heard about it at the permaculture workshop 2 years ago and was wondering if it is still around.

I am looking for a space in JP, brookline, or watertown/newton to grow food next summer... and thought you might remember. THANKS!

  • Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your reply. Is there any other UHL venue that might be appropriate for me to do a presentation on substitutes for paper products in the home (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, etc.)?
    Best wishes,
    Lorie

  • Hi Lisa,
Do you need any additional skill shares at the farmer's market on Oct 9th? I was thinking I could do a presentation on the topic of using a "family cloth" instead of toilet paper. It's a topic that's a little bit "out there", but I've been doing this for over a year now, and many folks are quite curious about it.... Let me know what you think....
    Best,
    Lorie

  • Hi Lisa,
I was wondering if you had any kombucha babies I could have? I let mine go awhile ago and want to get back into making kombucha. Thanks,
    Audra

  • Hey Lisa, I'm psyched to tour dem farms... so glad we met at the symposium last weekend. Not only did I discover your Urban Homesteader group but the whole MeetUp site as well. I'm in with both feet!

  • Hey, I'm looking forward to it. I'm away for the summer but will be back in September to see what homesteading is all about.
