Claudia Joseph, a permaculture teacher and gardener in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is developing two models, one at a community garden, and one with a Dutch colonial era House as it's center. She has taught at BBG, NYBG and the NY Open Center.

I hold 2 certificates (1996 & 1998) and was awarded a diploma by Permaculture USA in 2004 for work completed at The Oakland Botanical Demonstration Gardens.

Yes. I have developed 2 sites: the Garden of Union and The Old Stone House. They have large compost systems and fruitful landscapes. GOU is the only communally operated community garden in NYC.
I will be teaching a PDC beginning July 18.
