Our mission is to green up & grow food in urban homes, schools, and public spaces. We six have diverse skills, span 3 decades, and have varying levels of experience with gardening & farming. Yes! NYC needs more edible landscaping! It was great meeting the six founders of this fantastic new venture. The film, chronicling the beginnigs of the Argentinian worker's National Movement of Recovered Factories, is all too relevant to our lives here and now. Learning about ethical Micro Finance (Brendan Martin) and about the Green Worker Cooperative's Co-op Academy from the panel was fascinating also. Glad I attended!
