GROWING FRUIT IN CITY SOIL
Learn the fundamentals of building healthy organic soil and establishing fruiting plants in urban lots. This workshop will cover integrating fruiting plants into your yard or garden for optimal whole system health. We will discuss how to you and your landscape can benefit from the growing of various fruit producing perennial plants. We will address permaculture growing techniques and strategies for a wide variety of species from currants to kiwis, and brambles to blueberries; from site selection through ongoing maintenance. An onsite planting demonstration will leave you ready to plant up your neighborhood.
