Rooftop Farming Workshop
Come learn how easy it is to grow food on your roof using kiddie pools and other simple containers. This is the first workshop in a series about small-scale rooftop farming using permaculture. With a hands-on approach, will be going over rooftop structures, the mixing of light-weight soil, and how to plant early-season crops. We will also try to answer any questions you might have about permaculture or urban gardening.
Instructor: Adam Horwitch, Rooftop Farmer and Permaculture Designer
Location: The Commons, 388 Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn, NY
Cost: Free to attend. Suggested Donation $5-10
