Celebrate our area's last frost date with an open discussion with a Master Gardener. In this workshop, we will cover all of your gardening essentials: timing, soil prep, companion planting and plant classification. Mihail Kossev, a life-long seed-saver, started Collected Seed Farm (www.collectedseed.com) as a way to introduce noncorporate, hand-dried, hand-packaged seeds into the market and offer organic gardeners an alternative to the sterile hybrids produced by large companies. There will be an opportunity to answer questions about planning and planting your garden this spring. Light refreshments will be available.
