Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets contain hidden treasures that we can use to practice natural self-care every day as well as in emergencies. Empower yourself and save time and money, to boot, by learning how to use them. The workshop will cover three types of self-care:
*Emergency self-care including simple remedies to stop bleeding and stabilize broken bones
*Self-care remedies including natural ways to alleviate sore throat, earache and acid reflux
*Everyday self-care both internal, with food as medicine, and external, with non-chemical body products
To make this workshop more interactive, I invite attendees to share their own natural self-care strategies and tips and will compile and distribute them to attendees after the workshop. I will also offer resources (books and websites) to reference for self-care practices.
