He is also a world renown lecturer in the World Wide Sustainability Movement.

This workshop will feature a heavy design component,analytical and strategic application to adapt and survive the 5 boroughs and beyond.

In this ever evolving,dynamic and seemingly unrelated landscape of NYC,we will be discussing pattern recognition,the ability to identify and recognize the inner workings of a system,inherent strengths and weaknesses,missing elements and resources, all fundamental for good permaculture designers.
From there, we will align the order of relationships and start exploring natural succession theories and applications,appropriate techniques and technologies for the individual or collective.We will develop a blue print theory of a fundamental working model of interconnecting systems through progressive thinking and innovative design.
The workshop will end with a practical round table ,Larry Santoyo's "Permaculture Economic Stimulus Plan".In a city of increasing demand and diminished resources, we will discuss currency and exchange in permaculture,worth and responsibility,opportunity and wealth using a whole systems approach to create the conditions for economic sustainability to happen in your own backyard,the city that never sleeps....we invite you to be a part of it.New York! Prerequisite: This is an advance level design workshop.You are required to have had a basic introduction to permaculture or attended a PDC workshop. If you have not, you can take Larry Santoyo's "Eco Urbanism and the Future of Susutainability" workshop the week before.(Sept 19 &20)
