How is Sun Nov 22nd time for those interested?

The Bungalow Garden
QUEENS FIELD TRIP to Middle Village/Elmhurst area .

An A and A- assess from here on the potentials.
We are renting a 100x30 lot with a tiny house in Queens that is available for collaboration in hands-on projects and teaching. Making soil, growing food, fish and indoor studio space- and make money. The space aims to be another of the many NYC urban examples of permanent culture. It's also available as a eco-uberurban-vaca rental :).

We have 6 fruit trees for pruning if you would like to teach fruit tree maintenance and health. The old pear tree (in the photo) is full of fruit yet you can see it needs care.

Meet in the East village at 10th St. I will have a car for 4 others. If you want to meet us there email me.

It's over lunch time so bring something to eat .. or there is food near by.

    •  Thanks everyone for coming out and brainstorming. We came up with a lot of exciting plans. First we woke up a guest in the winter car shelter. Then we enjoyed the neighbor's tree which was abundant with persimmons "blinging" against the blue sky. We sat and talked goals articulation.. many ideas were tossed about. I am starting with a first step which is: to gather 4 or so garden members to pay a small fee to use the space and then a part time live-in co-manager to pay small sub-rental fee. The house is small and the indoor space will be shared. Therefore maybe the co-manager has a more private apt somewhere else. Once rent is taken care of we can be a small part of larger projects. I do not own the house and garden so all projects/farming/teaching will be transferable. (IE: Best to not invest in putting in cisterns or expensive structures.) Have a great thanksgiving all!
